| These are instructions on how to create your own,
PERSONALIZED wallpaper! (with Microsoft Paint) 1. Open the paint program on your computer. I prefer simple MS Paint, as most computers are equipped with this program. Check out the Programs folder on this CD for "MS PAiNT." 2. Now, adjust the pixel size to: - 120x126 for standard mode wallpaper - 120x133 for compressed mode wallpaper - 120x130 for any of the boot screens Having trouble? Go to Image ---> Attributes and enter in the width and length. i.e. 120 width & 126 length for standard sized images. Make sure the Units are in PIXELS. (SEE SIZE CHART AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE FOR GENERAL WALLPAPER SIZE RECOMMENDATIONS) 3. Create whatever design you wish, and save it as a .gif. It will tell you the picture might become changed, but you need to take this risk. Hopefully the color change will look good. You can now upload it to your phone and use it as wallpaper. - * - * - * - TO PUT PHOTOGRAPHS, RANDOM PICS, ETC. ON YOUR PHONE: 1. Follow directions 1&2 above. After you adjust the pixel size of your drawing area, open up a new, blank document in paint, but keep the adjusted pixel size one open as well. 2. Now in this new document, go to File, and Open up the image you want on your phone. The paint program will only see .bmp files, so where it says Files of Type, scroll to All Files. I've successfully opened all .jpg, .jpeg, and .gif files. Now, after you have successfully opened up your desired picture, chances are it's not the right pixel size. Go to Edit, and click Select All. 3. Go to the bottom corner of your photo, where the bottom right dot is, and adjust the size to as close as you can match to the opened pixel sized, currently blank document. It is a good idea to make it smaller than the size needed if you cannot match it exactly (as this task is difficult). 4. After that, adjust the outside, now unused canvas to the borders of your newly adjusted picture, go to Edit -> Select All and then Copy. 5. Now go to your other opened, adjusted blank doc and click Edit -> Paste Hopefully your image fits and looks good. If not, just click on the cropping rectangle tool (top on second row of tools, next to the cropping star tool), outline your picture, and drag the corners until it fills the whole area. 6. Save it as a .gif (colors might change as result of changing file extension, but this risk is a must. Hopefully, it will look good as a .gif file) and load on your phone! - Sizes_specs: i930, i860, i850 = 176x220 (gifs) i836, i830, i730, i710, i530, i355, i325, i305, i275, i265= 130x130 (gifs) or 128 x 128 to be safe...
